Location:
Fitness First @ One George Street
Summary:
Creates more space for members to utilise the pool and deck chairs by moving away towels on the chairs.
Current situation:
Swimmers at Gym pool would place their towels and shirt on the deck chairs while swimming.
Problem:
Leaving a unsightly and untidy appearance.
Prevent others to use the deck chair by leaving it occupied.
Other Perspective:
Not all swimmers use the deck chairs before and/or after swimming.
Other swimmers may not be able to swim, as there are no place for them to place their towel - 5 deck chair but the pool could accommodate 10 swimmers assuming 4 swimmers are standing by the ends of the pool and enjoying the soak.
Suggested Solution:
Setup a numbered towel hanger or numbered table with compartments for swimmers to place their towel.
Weakness to Solution:
Cost in infrastructure and setup.
Taking up slightly more space in the pool area.
How to make people aware to utilise the proposed solution?
Excerpt of others opinion:
Require all personal item be put away before showering off to enter the pool. No need to spend money, use signs, simple, create direction for people like all the signs do you follow everyday. The cheapest way to go about it.
What do you think?
After Thoughts:
Do you see the suggestion as a (business) opportunity with hurdles to overcome with potential to bring benefits OR a problem that troubles you; brings you to a bad mood which you could give up and blame everyone else for your misery?
