No Shortcut on Bookmarks Bar & Home Page does not point to Company Brand. Currently the Home Page points to Apple website (its a Mac).
Does not create awareness of Company Brand and ease of use to members who might need to use the website to give feedback or look for classes schedule. Participating advertisers website links are not on the bookmarks bar, which does not help in creating awareness of the advertisers brand to the members who could access their website to get more information on the brand especially when the members have the time and leisure to do so.
Does Fitness First have an agreement with Apple for Apple to sponsor their Macs to the gym for free, Fitness First would have to show Apple website at the computer home page? We know that repeated familiarity with something creates increased interest which in turns reinforces our need to buy? Apple website also shows the latest product that are launched with videos on product demos which may heighten interests of prospective buyers especially targeted at the gym member with capable purchasing power.
Company Brand Wins or Participating Advertisers Brand Wins? Place Company website as home page and on bookmarks bar together with advertisers websites on bookmarks bar.
Weakness to Solution:
But to be userfriendly and not spam the member with advertisers websites link, place websites links in the dropdown list of the bookmarks bar which hides the sites from first level view; leading to the question on the efficiency of the penetration of brand awareness to the potential customer in the first place?
