Dungeons and Dealers is a board game that teaches key elements of business in a fun and creative way. The goal of the game is to collect game pieces, to use in the chess-like battle at the end, as you progress through the game. The game board itself is in the form of a story book. There are various kinds of game squares throughout the game and different spots offer different experiences. There are blank spots, destiny spots, gold spots, capital resource spots and deal spots. Blank spots hold nothing and do absolutely nothing for you. Destiny spots allow you to pick up destiny cards, which can change the fate of the game by. Gold spots offer you different amounts of gold that you can use as currency to buy pieces. Capital resources allow you to enter a virtual marketplace in which you can purchase pieces with gold. Everyone is automatically moved to the start spot on the next page once someone lands on a deal spot and picks up a deal card. Each piece you collect has a different ability in the final battle.
We already constructed a prototype for our economics class, but we would love to make it into a real game.
